Job Description: KITV-TV a Hearst owned station in Honolulu, HI has an opening for an Anchor/Reporter. Anchors weekday morning show. Field anchors and reports as assigned Produces Special Project reports Serves as on-air representative for the station in the community

Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Anchoring Daily reporting Special project reporting from conception to production Multiple, daily contributions to kitv.com and KITV social media formats including Facebook, Twitter and Google plus. Represents KITV at various station sponsored and other community events

Requirements: Qualification Requirements: Someone with a proven ability to communicate and present news in a way that is interesting, clean and easy to understand. Excellent reporting, live reporting, writing and copy editing skills. Excellent story teller. A newsroom leader and team player who can mentor reporters and producers. A daily contributor, not only on the set but with story ideas and tease writing.

Education: Education: Minimum 4-year college degree

Experience: Experience: 3-5 years of anchoring and reporting experience. Knowledge of the Hawaii television market is a plus
