Process invoices in one of the following areas: purchase orders (PO) processing, non-PO processing or other disbursements that include contracts, rents, leases, check processing, travel reimbursements, employee expense reimbursement and refunds.
Be responsible for the processing of vendors’ invoices and vouchers in one of the above areas and meeting applicable customer service standards.
Demonstrate commitment to complete and follow through on all duties and assignment.
Plan and organize work, establishes priorities and meets deadlines.
Follow through on job duties and responsibilities are complete and timely.
Exhibit willingness to try new procedures or new tasks.
Take assignments from team lead or supervisor and willing/able to juggle schedule to meet business needs.
Be able to shift priorities in response to changing demands.
Be open to input from other personnel into how work can be more effective.
Maintain confidentiality of all information related to patients, medical staff, employees, and as appropriate, other information.
Have a professional, calm, and objective demeanor and able to perform in difficult situations ensuring customer and staff confidence.
Be wble to speak in a calm and reassuring voice and communicates this through his/her demeanor.
Knowledgeable of all processes in their area and able to provide back-up when necessary.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Three years of Accounts Payable experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Courses in bookkeeping, business machines, etc. desired
