Job Summary: The Front Desk Coordinator/Receptionist provides a positive and friendly first impression on behalf of by phone, email, or in-person for customers, business associates, and future employees. In between calls and visitors the FDC/Receptionist typically takes care of a number of general office tasks, including receiving and sorting mail, collecting and distributing parcels, transmitting and delivering facsimilies, recording appointments on the calendar, booking/coordinating travel, and doing routine bookkeeping, word processing, and filing.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintain constant front desk presence to greet visitors and answer incoming calls

Greet visitors and callers with a friendly and positive attitude; be an ambassador for the company; set the tone for a positive experience

Answer and route phone calls utilizing multi-line phone systems

Process incoming and outgoing mail immediately

Schedule and record meetings for conference rooms

Maintain petty cash

Oversee current office supply inventory, order new inventory within budget; assist employees with office supply needs

Maintain cleanliness and favorable appearance of lobby, break room, and conference rooms

Ensure break room is stocked with necessary items on a daily basis

Scan documents to PC as needed

Book and coordinate travel for employees as needed

Maintain routine files as needed

Assist with special projects as they arise

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be extremely customer-focused; must have a friendly demeanor and the ability to make a good impression both in person and over the phone

Must uphold a positive and professional attitude when working with executives, colleagues, business partners, and visitors

Ability to be detail-oriented and remain highly organized

Must be dependable with a great work ethic

Ability to handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

An interest in health and fitness is a plus

Education and Experience:
High School diploma
