You will be involved for the full project lifecycle – from concept to deployment – not just a step along the way.
You’ll work together with business leaders to brainstorm on how to solve the challenge at hand – not just take notes on decisions that have already been made.

Responsibilities include:
Building web-based ecommerce applications to be integrated with and enhance our current platform
Working with several large and complex SQL Databases
Developing software algorithms to streamline back end business workflow
Producing robust, elegant and scalable software that performs well under high load
Being creative and resourceful to solve complex business challenges
Understanding our needs, risks and making appropriate technology decisions
Ability to interface effectively with business partners and employ a consultative approach to solving business challenges
Act as “go-to” resource for both junior team members and upper management
Qualifications:
5-7+ years of Web Development experience (either demonstrable personal project work or within the industry)
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering from a 4-year college or university
Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
Strong experience coding Internet applications that interact heavily with a database
Expertise with SQL, databases and writing high-performance queries and stored procedures
Comfortable with writing effective web GUI relying on minimal client-side technology
Track record of producing significant products in a user-heavy internet environment
Strong business acumen; ability to work effectively cross-departmentally
