Business Systems Consultant 1
Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by assisting in the planning, conducting, and directing of the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Works closely with more experienced Business Systems Consultants on revising existing systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
- Reports to the Business Delivery Manager and aligns with the Retail Strategy Online lead.
- Analyzes, documents, prioritizes and oversees functional and technical requirements concerning new software modules and customization requests. Reviews all requirements with end-user friendliness (e.g. user interface, execution performance) in mind. Has exploratory nature and uses creative problem solving skills to retrieve information from multiple sources of information.
- Initiates, maintains and fosters a resilient and productive relationship with partner resources. Holds and facilitates meetings with remote participants on a regular basis. Develops and organizes concise, effective written communication. Focuses on customer satisfaction and has the ability to cope with challenging internal customers.

6+ months IT experience.
Basic IT industry experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Effective interpersonal and formal communication skills through various media (in person, writing, telephone, online meeting)
Demonstrated ability to present options and recommendations in a manner that supports quality decision making
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the workload and the development cycle
Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to work under tight
Prior experience with Retirement or Brokerage lines of business
