POSITION SUMMARY

If so, we''re looking for you to become our CarePass Developer/API Evangelist. CarePass (www.carepass.com) is the consumer health platform from Aetna, aimed at making healthcare more convenient for consumers. We are seeking an exceptional person to help us grow our developer community and lead the way in creating game-changing apps with CarePass APIs.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Drive awareness of CarePass in the developer community through engagement with hackathons, developer forums, social media - wherever discussions are taking place-Lead events (e.g., challenges, hackathons) to fuel innovation in mobile health-Create/manage primary content for our developer blog and forums-Produce content such as sample apps, videos, tutorials, and tweets to increase the awareness of CarePass APIs-Deliver presentations and demos to both business and technical audiences-Provide developer support on our forums and other social channels to help developers envision, build, and distribute products using CarePass APIs-Develop code samples for applicable languages and frameworks-Gather feedback that will inform Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Business Development decisions
REQUIRED SKILLS: 1.Prior experience building web and/or mobile apps, and familiarity with most current web development and data management technologies.2.Broad knowledge of modern programming languages and development environments.3.Working knowledge of modern web technologies, including cloud computing-based APIs and protocols (e.g., REST, JSON, SOAP).4.Familiar with web security protocols and best practices (e.g. OAuth, WS*, SAML, digital certs).5.Familiarity with revision control and bug tracking systems.6.Excellent customer engagement skills and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.7.Demonstrated community participation as well as deep knowledge and experience with social networking tools (forums, blogging, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).8.Understanding of best practices in social media / community marketing.9.Ability to work and travel (domestically and internationally) independently with unwavering professionalism and high productivity - estimated travel is 25-50%.PREFERRED SKILLS: 1.Previous experience as a mobile developer, technical evangelist, or technical product manager.2.Expertise in various developer platforms, APIs, and Web Services (Facebook, Android, iPhone, Google, etc) - both functionality and terms of use.3.Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks, toolkits, SDKs and code repositories.4.Familiarity with Enterprise Service Bus or other integration technologies.5.Previous experience in health technology, consumer health, or other consumer technologies.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience.
