This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional distribution center. This broad leadership role encompasses sales, customer service and marketing equipment and warehousing operations.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region
Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards
Effectively lead overall warehouse operations through consistent product availability, warehouse productivity, inventory, asset preservation and reliability and cost reductions efforts
Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees
Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs
Basic Job Qualifications:
Consumer packaged goods experience in a direct store delivery environment
A minimum of 5 years of people leadership, preferably in a sales environment
Preferred Job Qualifications: :
MBA or Masters degree
