Systems Engineer (Senior) ensures technical solutions meet mission needs.
Develops models and frameworks of existing and/or future wireless infrastructure.
Responsible for defining and maintaining standards and best practices for all wireless and general communication systems engineering
Provides identification/fixing of problems within existing systems, design/implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems; participates in analysis, design and new construction of next generation communication systems.
Provides technical direction for the development of interoperability standards in support of DHS objectives.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree in an engineering/ technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years or more of professional experience; or 18 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 15 years of professional experience with a related PhD or JD; or 9 years of professional experience with a MD.
- Must have expert level skills in Windows 7 OS, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Software patching and OS Migrations.
