This position provides support to the Director of the Department of Advanced Practitioners in all areas of administration including tracking of CME/CEU data base, travel request and tracking, staff scheduling, tracking of license and certification, supply ordering and administrative support for the advance practice providers
 Supports the HUP auxiliary health Care provider credentialing/recredentialing process that directly effects UPHS hospital's state licensure, JCAHO accreditation, delegated provider enrollment agreements with managed care plans and the ability of UPHS providers to practice thereby directly impacting UPHS revenue generation.
 Prepares the HUP auxiliary health care providers credentialing/recredentialing files for all departments.
in accordance with UPHS service standards, Hospital Bylaws, Medical Board Policies, State regulations and JCAHO and NCQA standards.
(Note: HUP auxiliary health care providers include PAs, CRNAs, NPs, CNMs and CRNFAs)

Minimum Requirements

High school graduate with 5 years business office experience. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Proficiency in Word Processing, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point, required.

Candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to prioritize among various responsibilities. Must have highly developed interpersonal skills. Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment.
