Qualifications
10-15 years experience within the industry with 3-5 years previous managerial responsibilities. Three to five (3-5) years previous managerial responsibilities, including, but not limited to, recruiting, orienting, training, scheduling, mentoring, counseling, evaluating, promoting and terminating employees. Superior project management skills. Budget management skills strongly preferred. Previous vendor management experience preferred. Experience in the management of web services for a variety of client focused portals (i.e. consumer, workplace, patient, physician, etc) Experience in managing Web application development projects. Experience in managing Business Intelligence, Data warehousing, and Enterprise Content Management Teams. Minimum education requirements of a Bachelor's of Science in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science or commensurate experience.
Responsibilities
The incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, organizing and managing tactical and strategic information services to help clients enhance their delivery of services by facilitating the processing and delivery of information. Along with senior management, develop long and short-range plans for systems architecture (strategic planning). Strategize and make recommendations concerning trends for Web development (Intranet/Internet/Extranet, content management, application development, etc.), client server based applications, and interface engine management. Manages the day-to-day operations of the department ensuring that all issues are handled appropriately and resources are effectively utilized. Formulates, recommends, implements, monitors and controls operational and capital budgets within administrative guidelines. Ensures that overall project plans are in place and that individual team members have project plans and individual goals.
