Senior Product Manager, ALM Platform Integrations and Ecosystem - 1095351
                      Description The individual will be responsible for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Platform Integrations in the HP Software portfolio. He/she will own the definition, management and delivery of the product integrations across the BTO portfolio and third party solutions through the entire product lifecycle.

                      Success in the role will depend on developing a deep understanding of the market and establishing key relationships with customers and partners. The individual will define and prioritize future product requirements with RnD and enable the sales & pre-sales organizations to effectively position the solution in the market.

                      The role will include business and technical presentations to customers with up to 25% travel.

                      As the internal and external evangelist of your product, you are charged with product line success. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will define products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time understanding customer and prospect problems, synthesizing these needs, and defining innovative solutions for the broader market.

                      Job Responsibilities
                      ·
                      Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities including gathering requirements and driving the cross-functional effort.
                      · Prioritize product direction by maintaining a detailed product roadmap supported by financial analysis and competitive positioning.
                      · Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
                      · Drive a solution set across development teams by being the voice of the customer and maintaining detailed requirements to guide the development of new products/features and their successful launch.
                      · Determine product pricing, packaging and bundling strategy
                      · Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
                      · Develop and champion product positioning, develop sales strategy, validate market messaging, and evangelize your product offerings both internally and externally.
                      · Manage customer-facing aspects of offering launch, refresh and end-of-life (EOL) programs
                      · Manage joint product definition, positioning and launch efforts on new products/solutions with strategic partners
                      · Develop various aspects of sales kits including whitepapers and messaging documents to be used for collateral pieces, presentations and product demonstrations
                                              Industry/Product Knowledge:
                                              • Understanding of enterprise software market, with IT as the target customer.
                                              • Application Lifecycle Management industry knowledge and/or experience a big plus.
                                              Product Management Experience:
                                              • Ability to contribute to defining a strategic vision and to articulate it in front of a variety of audiences.
                                              • Ability to perform market analysis and competitive analysis and define product requirements, product release plans, and technical demos.
                                              • Ability to work effectively with R&D to manage the product through the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and maintenance.
                                              • Ability to clearly articulate and present the product value proposition internally and externally with customers and partners.
                                              • Ability to communicate at varying levels of technical detail with customers, partners, marketing, sales, support, services and R&D, in one-on-one and group situations
                                              General Skills:
                                              • Excellent organization and project management skills, with attention to detail.
                                              • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
                                              • Self-motivated and team-oriented, able to multi-task and work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team.
                                              • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and establish credibility with customers, prospects, analysts, sales, R&D, and the management team.
