The Geospatial Intelligence Analyst uses advanced geospatial techniques to identify vulnerabilities, generate statistics and discover correlating information. The qualified candidate will be able to use a variety of GIS suites to visualize 3D geospatial information to emphasize terrain elements and prepare the battle space. Candidates must have the ability to adapt to new techniques in a fast paced environment, and support a unique mission set with little guidance. He/She will support a team-based GIS production shop for daily products and dissemination to Special Operations Forces. Geospatial Intelligence Analysts will be expected to understand the battle space and generate a geospatial intelligence approach to help the warfighter.
6 years of experience processing, creating and editing multiple geospatial data formats and specifications for combat units using a variety of GIS suites including ESRI ArcGIS9.x desktop suite (such as ArcMap, ArcToolbox, ArcCatalog, ArcGlobe, ArcSDE) and its production and analysis extensions such as Spatial Analyst, Production Line Tool Set (PLTS), Data Interoperability, 3D Analyst, Network Analyst, GeoRover, Military Analyst and Map2PDF, SocetSetGXP, Erdas IMAGINE 9.x, Google Earth, RemoteView, FalconView and Skyline
Formal Education Required: High School
Must be a US Citizen subject to a Government security investigation.
