This position is located in the Henderson Hall, Headquarters Battalion, Supply Section, Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps. The Budget Office supports Henderson Hall Budget/Accounting Office by centrally managing and reporting Fund Administrators' financial accounts and by preparing budget submission requirements. KEY REQUIREMENTS

This position is a drug-testing designated position (TDP).
You must obtain and maintain a security clearance. DUTIES:
Creates and maintains financial ledgers/databases for all Fund Administrator accounts reflecting current account balances.
Verifies accounting data reflected on payment vouchers prior to submission for payment ensuring that standard document number and appropriation data are accurate.
Assists in budget formulation process. Assists in preparing budget forecasts utilizing both historical usage data and section input.
Retrieves and prints reports as needed. Reviews, analyzes, and verifies reports to ensure accuracy and correlation with manual records/supporting documentation.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience with basic fiscal/accounting principles, methods and techniques utilized to maintain financial accountability and realize other fiscal objectives.
Experience with spreadsheet, database and word processing software applications such as (but not limited to) Lotus Release 3.0, Amipro, Approach, DBASE III.
Experience with the automated accounting system, SABRS, and the associated coding structure.
