BrightWire is actively recruiting Global Media Analysts for target markets. Global Media Analysts lead our media-monitoring efforts, provide in-depth business and financial research, and assume primary coverage responsibility for a select portfolio of companies and topics. As a Global Media Analyst, you will conduct granular research on target companies, industries, and topics, and provide real-time coverage of breaking news and events that helps clients access and leverage critical information from local and foreign media. This role includes all aspects of providing content to our clients, from compiling viable content sources and identifying material news in local media outlets, to writing concise reports that enable clients to grasp the impact of relevant news as soon as it breaks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather and analyze industry data to develop an industry vision
Analyze emerging trends in an industry or macro-economy
Prepare comprehensive company reports
Assess and review findings with senior team members
Provide real time media summaries on material news on target companies and markets
Develop unique and effective ways to analyze market conditions, companies, industries, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English required
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Strong interest in international financial markets
Familiarity with financial terms and filings is helpful, but not required
