Description

Quality Assurance Supervisor/Manager(s)

Duties Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor/Manager(s) (S/M) will report directly to their respective Site Manager(s) and will administer the site QA Program as per CNAFINST 4790.2 series, applicable directives, and the company Quality Procedures Manual. QA S/M duties will include:

Administering the QA Inspection and Auditing programs ensuring surveillance on all processes and work centers within the contract’s scope
·
Administering the site Qualification/Certification Programs
·
Monitoring site quality performance indicators and reporting status to the Site Manager(s)
·
Evaluating existing methods, systems, and potential improvements complying with maintenance and flight schedule requirements, ensuring cost effectiveness, productivity, and personnel safety
·
Directly managing the site Quality Assurance Representatives (QAR), Tech Pubs/Training Coordinator, and NALCOMIS System Administrator/Analyst
Qualifications
Experience
·


Twelve years experience in direct aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection, and modification; five (5) years shall be as a QA Inspector
·
Have administered an aviation Quality Assurance Program serving as: Quality Supervisor/Manager/Lead, QAR, or QA Inspector
·
Experience supervising personnel daily workloads supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Skills
·


Technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 series knowledge
·
Basic supply procedures knowledge and understanding
·
Possess a working knowledge of applicable aircraft
·
Knowledge and capability to perform associated functions
·
Demonstrated aircraft logs and records knowledge and understanding
·
Leadership and management skills directing assigned personnel complying with established policies, procedures, and operations throughout the organization
·
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely orally and in writing
·
Perform inspections and audits on applicable programs, procedures, and operations
Education/Training
·


Formal or Specialized Training
·
FOD Awareness
·
Operational Risk Management (ORM), Anti-Terrorism and Safety/Security Training
·
Hazardous Communication
·
ISO 9000/AS 9100/AS9110 Lead Auditor Training (desired)
Qualifications/Certifications
·


Valid State Driver’s License
·
Safe for Flight Certification
US Security Clearance Required : Secret
