Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 2+ years' experience in silicon-related product testing or silicon design development. Additional qualifications include:

1 years experience with ASIC design flow, validation concepts like ATG, test plan writing, functional coverage, etc.

2 years experience in Basic programming in C and/or C++ or Perl or TCL

Strong analytical skills

Strong logic design skills and experience in Verilog or VHDL coding

Job Description: Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer Intern candidates will be responsible for pre-si validation of CCG mobile and desktop chipsets. The team is responsible for defining and developing validation strategy/tools/methods, validation IP (BFMs, architecture checkers), Virtual Platforms, test plans, tests and execution and coverage development/analysis for our I/O Controller Hubs and Platform Controller Hubs. The team works closely with the HW/SW design teams, design automation and other validation teams to validate our products and improve our tools and methodologies. Excellent communication and organization skills and excellent teamwork. Candidates must have strong problem solving skills
