The scope of responsibility includes effective execution of procurement and supply chain activities within the boundaries of pre-established framework and supply agreements for Operations, Logistics and Infastructure Category products and services. Complies with PSCM Policy and Procedures and complies with local government and partner requirements. Raises formal call-offs against the contracts as required.

Operations Categories may include but is not limited to:
Avation, Marine, Fuels, and Fuel Distribution

Continuous improvement in Contractor Safety performance and operational risk reduction with particular focus on Potential High Consequence Activities (PHCA) and improvement in process safety

Input to region Operations and PSCM risk registers and implementation of mitigation actions

Support implementation of Contractor Safety Management Program and Supplier Quality Management common process

Builds effective relationship with Line organization in office and field

Promotes compliance with BP's code of conduct and the procurement operating standard within cross functional teams and with suppliers

Utilizes financial analysis and ‘should cost modeling’ skills to evaluate

supplier price review proposals

Works with the Line to develop demand plans and assists in the development of statements of work and develops the contracting plan

Actively tracks the supply market to take advantage of the prevailing

opportunities in the marketplace and maintains profiles of key suppliers

Implements Category Management, and Anti-Corruption Due Diligence requirements for operations

Execution of regional supplier management and contractor oversight

Input into Market Sector Strategies for global sub- sectors.

Participate in Strategic Sourcing activities and input to Supplier selection for the region.

Develops the regional Market Intelligence for the specific sub-sector

Develop effective Contract Implementation Plans including development of contract briefs and schedule of responsibilities and works closely with Operations organization to implement the plan

Active participation in Category Management Global Network
