Shift:
  • Full Time (Day or Night shift available)
o Please note that the Florence Technology Center is a 24x7x365 operation.

o Typically, this is a 12 hour shift, 3 or 4 days per week. (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor a wide variety of systems and accurately address technical issues as they arise.
  • Complete daily tasks, corresponding tracking lists and all shift reporting accurately and efficiently and within the guidelines of established standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct clear and effective two-way communication, verbal and electronic, with team members and vendors as well as, internal and external customers.
  • With proper training, be able to provide “smart hands” to assist remote engineers with on-site troubleshooting and hardware support.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and client care skills by documenting all analysis work and communications within a ticketing system
  • Provide record-keeping that meets or exceeds the expectation of the customer.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, robust and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to mentor peers, in areas of strength, at the direction of the team lead or site manager for the betterment of the team.
  • Perform tape and backup functions across various platforms to include mainframe, mid-range and windows servers. The scope of these responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
o scheduled and unscheduled backup job monitoring.

o loading, unloading and organizing of media in preparation for off-site storage.

  • EPIC Application support experience is a plus.
  • A+ Certification or equivalent is a plus.
