The Department of Biological Sciences at Mississippi State
University invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty
position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning Fall, 2011.
We seek an individual with expertise in any area of cellular or
developmental biology, and are especially interested in applicants
who have interdisciplinary research interests. The successful
candidate will be expected to contribute to Biological Sciences'
degree programs by 1) developing an active, externally-funded
research program that includes directing M.S. and Ph.D. students;
2) teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in cell biology
or a related discipline and relevant postdoctoral experience.

interests, and reprints of up to three representative publications.
