We are seeking a Project Analyst I to support projects primarily in our Atlanta office. Our ideal candidate will proactively partner with PMO leadership, Project Managers and other members of the project team to help manage and coordinate projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of routine tasks to accomplish specific project requirements established by Brown and Caldwell, the PMO, and the Project Manager. Tasks include supporting the PM in accurate project set-up, project compliance with client contracts, preparation and compliance with subcontract agreements, monitoring financial progress from project initiation through closeout by tracking outstanding WIP and AR balances, running financial reports (i.e., Project Detail Charges), assisting with budget development, inquiring of project data in Prism project control system, compiling and disseminating project documentation to appropriate personnel, tracking project performance reports from Project Manager and Accounting Manager, coordinating/monitoring payment to subconsultants, monitoring AR balances and assisting with collections as requested by the PM, assisting with project closeout, and assisting PM with identifying project differences in ELM, budgets, etc. Tasks and processes also include filing and archival, management of project documents, internal communications and reporting.

Position Requirements:

1-3 years of related experience in Project Accounting, Client Billing or Contract Administration, a Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred. Proficiency in Excel and the MS Office Suite required. Prior working knowledge of an integrated accounting system such as BST, Deltek, Oracle, etc. and MS Project is beneficial. Additional experience in Project Forecasting, Project Focus and a background in Engineering, Service or Construction industry a plus. Candidate should be self-motivated, achievement-oriented, service-oriented, analytical thinker, with good verbal and written communication skills.
