Description
Performs clerical tasks involved in an organization. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, general filing and records maintenance, preparing routine correspondence, word processing, compiling data for reports, preparing/editing presentations, imaging documents, verifying data, completing forms, data entry, processing various documents (i.e. claims forms and invoices), operating office equipment, maintaining records, account reconciliation, distributing mail, duplicating, and other established general clerical tasks.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
High school education or equivalent.
To adequately perform the duties of the job individuals must possess a minimum of 6 months to 1 year general administrative experience, or equivalent college level education.
Knowledge and Skills:
Basic knowledge of the administrative methods, and an acumen to develop the required administrative skills of the job.
Specific level of software skills as required by the work unit.
Ability to read, write and recognize numbers.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Experienc Imaging Documents.
Ability to sort, file, retrieve documents, type, enter data, and use a copy machine.
Operate on-line computers, balance receipts, proofread and edit.
Research and resolve issues within the scope of job.
Develop written and oral correspondence.
Collect and sort mail, determine postage and use metering equipment.
Ability to collect, transport, safeguard and deliver mail, secured data, and sensitive documents.
Maintain log of collections, deliveries, and mileage.
Operate a delivery vehicle. Lift and transport materials as needed.
