We are actively seeking a talented JR Cyber Operations Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be working in an environment that would entail working with cutting edge software in at least one of the following technical development areas: C/C++, Java, J2EE, Object Oriented Design, Perl, Web Technologies, or Information Security. The applicant should enjoy working independently or in a team environment and be able to utilize common standard software development principals including version control and configuration management guidelines.
Additionally duties are to perform analysis, design and development of computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. Review system architecture, select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. Testing and debugging related software. The candidate should possess knowledge of computer system architectures,
Database (Oracle/Sybase), Object Oriented programming, GUI development and design, COTS integration, and Enterprise Middleware Products (Weblogic, JBOSS, etc).
Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Ability to develop plans and schedules from a list of tasks and milestones. Technical Knowledge and personnel skills to function as a productive member of a technical team.
The following additional experience is required:
- Knowledge of various software: Object oriented and legacy design, development and testing, embedded development, JAVA, C, C++, Perl, J2EE, .Net, C#, or XML;
- Knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of Information Assurance: Security engineering, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, Computer Network Defense, Active/Dynamic Network Defense, : KI, C&A, cryptographic engineering, or computer forensics
- Knowledge and experience with Wireshark, client/server and P2P, mail servers and clients, SMTP, Web servers and browsers, HTTP, SSL, HTTPS, VOIP, Switches and Routers, DNS and network exploitation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience.
