THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED AT: 2051 KILLEBREW DRIVE, BLOOMINGTON, MN

The Final Documents Assignment Team is a detail and quality-oriented team that is responsible for the creation, execution, review and recordation of assignments needed to complete loan files for Final Documents and our investors. Attention to detail is critical in this role. Review includes: confirmation that the proper chain of title has been documented, the assignment created by the Document Preparer has been created accurately, and the assignment is in the proper name to be recorded.

This position ensures the unit's work is completed on time and accurately by planning, coordinating and monitoring the daily activities of the routine to moderately complex work of less senior team members. This position may become a signer for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. This team is responsible for the document management of Foreclosure files.

Duties may include:
  • Reviewing, prioritizing, and distributing daily work to meet deadlines and goals
  • Monitoring work in progress making adjustments as needed
  • Giving feedback and training to staff
  • Addressing scheduling issues, including absences and tardiness
  • Giving input to supervisors on staff performance
  • Representing unit at meetings
Basic Qualifications

3+ years operations experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and distribute complex work within a specified department. Possesses prioritizing and quality review skills. Has ability to lead, train, and provide performance feedback to staff and corresponding manager.

  • This candidate must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  • High School diploma
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • 1+ year of experience within the Mortgage/Banking/Finance and/or Real Estate
industry

  • Experience with Fidelity/CPI/LPS/MSP
  • Strong computer skills (including Excel and Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify trends
  • Proven time management and strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assimilate change
  • Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work environment
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience with File Net/LIV, and Arrow Loan and DQ
  • Previous mortgage experience particularly in the areas of Mortgage Servicing/Collateral
Resolution, Customer Service, and Lien Release

  • Terminal digit filing skills and color coding system by terminal digit skills
