The Infrastructure / Systems Admin Engineer is a key role as we scale up the product for additional millions of downloads. The Infrastructure / Systems Admin Engineer is accountable for a production environment that delivers Three 9s uptime and increasing as well as a development environment that supports agile development of Android, iOS, and Web Apps, in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
Maintaining, enhancing, scaling production systems
Supporting management and developers with demo, test, and staging servers
Managing DNS
Sharing off-hour support (to date, very few problems)


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Job Qualifiations
7 - 10+ years experience managing multi-node enterprise systems
Linux, preferably Ubuntu Server/Debian
Familiarity with more than one of Bash, Ruby, Python, and Perl. Unless there's a good reason not to, we'll use Bash/Ruby.
Experience with Chef, Puppet, or another CM system.
Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDB. We currently use self-hosted MySQL and Amazon RDS.
Experience with Rails/Apache/Passenger
A great attitude and attention to detail (duh).
Familiar with cloud based/shared nothing systems. We use AWS.
Experience with monitoring using Nagios, Zabbix or similar tools
Superior troubleshooting skills
