Title: Biomedical Engineering Analyst

(Exempt) (Professional)

7.15.2013, EP: update from Hiring Manager - Can we somehow stress that with this requisition (#38018) we need candidates whom are SW engineers by education or experience? We are getting a lot of candidates who are newer grads without formal SW education. And the Biomed engineers generally just don’t have enough of the SW skills we’re hoping to find. I’m open to newer grads, but I’d like to have more of them with Computer Science degrees interested in data analytics. Also, we are looking for experience in managing large volumes of data, database experience (SQL). They would be coding in Matlab (which is very similar to C). Biomedical experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
