JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

People: Hire, train, retain and develop team
  • Sets PACE & TONE for the shift. Motivates staff to achieve results in 14 great shifts.
  • Assists in the on boarding process of interviewing and hiring quality candidates to increase retention and morale.
  • Recognizes employee strengths and opportunities to craft developmental lessons. Takes ownership and responsibility for development of staff through communication, documentation, and evaluation.
  • Provides motivation to team through active learning opportunities. Develops a strong teamwork environment.
  • Conducts meetings shiftly, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually as expected to facilitate communication and create synergy.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with all company team members, fostering and promoting cooperative, harmonious work environment keeping morale, productivity, and efficiency high.
  • Builds rapport with all team members through active listening and problem solving skills.
  • Holds self to a higher standard, being a role model at all times.
  • Ensures the integrity of manager training programs and supports new manager's growth.

Profits: Optimize financial results (drive sales and control costs)
  • Manages cost of sales through inventory management system and troubleshoot variances.
  • Reviews and educates cost control opportunities taking corrective action as needed and suggesting alternative courses of action with leadership.
  • Secures all storage and cash handling areas to minimize risk and loss.
  • Continuously improves operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to D&B operating standards and philosophies, maximizing profits and minimizing costs.
  • Manages assigned area by meeting goals, analyzing opportunities, and presenting ideas to leadership.

Sales: Manage business plan to meet targeted financial performance
  • Sets department goals with leadership input.
  • Assists in rollouts of all Company initiatives.
  • Executes private events to maximize sales and increase the guest experience.
  • Administer and implement sales incentive plans and contests.

Guests: Consistently meet the standard for the guest experience (quality of operations)
  • Delivers an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun.
  • Monitors service cycles and operational standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensures a well maintained, safe, secrure, and sanitary environment for all D&B guests and staff.
  • Practices proactive guest management by recognizing opportunities before they occur, resolving the ones that do, and leaving the guest with a positive experience portraying a positive company image at all times.

NSO : Actively participates in succession planning by developing promotable people
  • Provides training support for New Store Openings (NSO), as needed.

Specific Area of Responsibility Duties :

General Service Staff Area Operations Manager
  • Builds a cooperative relationship with AM, AGM, and Training Manager to ensure Ideal Player Conditions are met through facility maintenance, adequate staffing, and training of all staff members.
  • Ensures that all areas meet operational standards and guest service needs, ensuring optimal levels of stock on hand, accurate inventory practices, timely ordering, and effective product display.
  • Works with staff to store, organize, and secure inventory throughout building.
  • Creates workable plans to increase operational execution, utilizing financial results, guest satisfaction surveys, and staff reports.
  • Builds a schedule that that is well balanced, financially feasible, and guest satisfaction driven.
Front of House Area Operations Manager
  • Ensures that FOH area meets operational standards and guest service needs are met through facility maintenance, adequate staffing, and training of all staff members.
  • Works with FOH staff to store, organize, and secure inventory throughout building.
  • Creates workable plans to increase operational execution; utilizing financial results, guest satisfaction surveys, and staff reports.
  • Monitors service cycles and creates an actionable plan for all opportunities.
  • Builds a schedule that that is well balanced, financially feasible, and guest satisfaction driven.

Back of House Area Operations Manager
  • Builds a cooperative relationship with KM and AGM to ensure kitchen operating standards are met through facility maintenance, adequate staffing, and training of all kitchen staff members.
  • Works with KM on cost of sales through the inventory management system, food safety audits, station testing and recipe knowledge, food quality indicators, and ticket times.
  • Assists in execution and facilitation of the Hat Program.
  • Monitors and assists all areas of store to ensure financial, operational, and guest standards and being met.
  • Ensures all daily administrative tasks are completed effectively in a timely manner.
Training Area Operations Manager
  • Ensures that Hourly Training Programs are scheduled and adhered to on a shift by shift basis.
  • Ensures the facilitation, compliance, and tracking of all alcohol training programs.
  • Responsible for effective and timely implementation of all company rollouts and initiatives.
  • Assists in the execution of all store recognition and morale programs; implements and tracks in-store and corporate driven employee contests.
  • Ensures consistent usage of all interview materials (interview booklets, Batus, background checks, reference checks, etc).
  • Assists in orientation and completion of paperwork for new staff members, reviewing all policies and procedures while instilling a passion for our culture.
  • Turnover tracking, staffing reports, Batrus reports, and others reports as directed by ROD, WHQ, and Senior Management, completed and sent in a timely manner.
  • Tracks and files applications appropriately and securely
