Provide business office support for departments within the Business Services organization. Serve as a resource for human resource services, financial management, budget and fiscal planning, travel and procurement functions. Actively participate in the preparation of the annual budget, as well as monitor and project budget versus actual expenditures throughout the year. Prepare budget changes and reconcile base budgets at the organizational level. Ensure personnel changes are recorded accurately and timely. Exercise signature authority for approval of travel, procurement, accounts payable and financial management activities.
High school diploma or GED.
Four years accounting / Account Clerk / bookkeeping experience.
Working knowledge of business office functions.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze and interpret University policies and procedures.
Ability to document procedures pertaining to Business Services Business Office functions.
Excellent customer service skills and professionalism in dealing with students, individuals and business customers.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
Strong organizational and time management skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Motivated and creative individual with ability to efficiently multi task, work under pressure, handle interruptions and meet deadlines.
Ability to identify problems, analyze information and implement solutions utilizing available resources.

Must possess a learning orientation to changing technology.
Proficiency in software experience: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Basic accounting and/or Business coursework.
Demonstrated ability to project and monitor accounts and budgets.
Ability to compile financial data, prepare financial analysis and present recommendations.
