POSITION SUMMARY: The Configuration Management Specialist I works as part of the Continuous Integration Team (CIT), and the primary role is to trace all changes during the SDLC utilizing configuration identification, control, status accounting, audits, and verify final package for production.

Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in accordance with Citizens core values and ethics policies

Interface with developers, architects and development manager to understand and support application configuration requirements

Maintain documentation for application configurations, deployment processes, and standards

Assemble, package and deploy applications on non-production environments

Assist with establishing standards and scripts for automated build processes

Manage source control repositories

Manage build and deployment systems

Work effectively in a team environment

Track, document and maintain all changes for SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of assembly, packaging and deployment of application components

Understanding of programming and development

Ability to review and analyze RFC (Request For Change)

Ability to read and write technical documents such as requirement and design documentation

Ability to balance varied tasks and projects and quickly shift focus amongst various systems and applications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree in relevant field OR a combination of college education and relevant work experience equivalent to 2 years of college

2 years experience in field relevant to position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Perforce or other source control systems administration experience

Knowledge of application development

Maven experience

Nexus experience

Jenkins experience

WebSphere and Tomcat application deployment experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Provide on-call support according to a scheduled rotation
