One such opportunity exists at our Langley AFB, VA location. We are looking for Expeditionary Combat Support (ECS) Analysis support expertise to provide technical support all phases of Air Force Global Force Management (GFM) for ACC Expeditionary Combat Support Division.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Provide full time support in the area of ECS analysis in order to discover opportunities to maximize the predictability, sustainability, and on-time execution of the GFM process for USAF members and units

Participate in GFM/Force Provider (FP) workshops, meetings, and conferences to develop and update strategies to improve ECS and Air and Space Expeditionary Force (AEF) USAF ability to execute unit-based deployments and improve GFM scheduling, verification, sourcing, and execution

Serve as the ACC ECS division focal point for force metrics and provide recommendations to improve survivability and reduce vulnerabilities for those deploying as part of AEF, Individual Augmentee, and Joint Expeditionary Tasking (JET) deployments

Examine existing USAF policies and identify disconnects or gaps which must be corrected to allow ACC to effectively manage all aspects of the GFM process

Analyze USAF posturing, sourcing, and deployment methodologies and recommend improvements to reduce operations tempo stress and promote unit-based deployment solutions

Develop and coordinate feedback methods to ensure awareness of deployment discrepancies, recurring complaints, names-in-system, and other key ESC trends; publish monthly trend analysis report for Wing staff

Monitor, verify, track and analyze performance metrics related to ACC personnel readiness, sourcing, tasking and accountability

Provide database management and analysis support to review UTC postures across ACC to ensure AEF UTCs are postured IAW current guidance

Develop and institutionalize processes for timely and efficient building, validation and reporting of GFM-compliant consolidated planning schedules for USAF ECS forces

Analyze changes to higher headquarters (HHQ) doctrine, policy, and guidance including combatant commander training requirements; access impact to ECS forces and identify vulnerabilities and opportunities

Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in Expeditionary Skills Training including all JET Combat Airman Skills Training; provide analysis of required equipment to identify, assess, and recommend potential solutions for solving or improving survivability and utility in the field

Receive, analyze and coordinate with recommendations commander-requested exemptions and waivers to Tier 3 training requirements including adjustments to meet unforeseen or transitional changes to mission requirements

Manage and track action items from multiple ECS planning workshops, meetings, and conferences

Assist the ECS division with the notification, registration, set-up, logistical coordination, securing facilities, communications capabilities, lodging, meals, security, and transportation for ECS planning conferences and meetings

Develop and provide conference and meeting attendees with appropriate read-ahead documentation and agendas

Essential Skills and Experience:
SECRET clearance required

3 years experience with ACC and/or Combatant Command Staff

2 years experience in intelligence, deliberate/crisis action planning to include time-phased force and deployment data (TPFDD) processes, reporting and analysis

1 year functional expertise in Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and Deployment and Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES)

Knowledge of Joint and USAF personnel readiness policies and processes

Knowledge of USAF UTC tasking procedures and related automated systems

Knowledge of AEF concepts, tasking and accountability goals and requirements

Knowledge of TPFDD reporting and certification processes

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with a focus on ACCESS and EXCEL to support data gathering and analysis functions
