GRADUATE ASSISTANT - PE Pedagogy/Motor Behavior

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

This individual will provide the set-up calibration, maintenance and repair of equipment necessary to maintain the functioning of the Motor Development/Pedagogy Lab/Dance Lab. This individual will also prepare, coordinate and supervise the lab activities associated with PE 2800 Motor Behavior, PE 3060 Methods of Preschool & Primary School Physical Education & PE 3350 Methods & Curriculum Development Elementary School, PE 3300 Teaching Dance in Schools, PE 4000 Secondary School and PE 4150 Adapted Physical Education. Individual and small group instruction is emphasized during lab time, as is "data" collection and analysis. This individual will assist faculty utilizing these labs for instructional purposes. This individual will assist faculty with teaching methods courses and videotaping. Additionally, a small amount of this individual's time will be spent assisting faculty in library research, data collection and analysis.

Schedule varies - 20 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be admitted to a UNO graduate program, Physical Education content area.
