PBM products in Gordonsville, Virgina is a division of the Perrigo Company that manufactures infant formula and other pediatric nutritional products for the store brand market. This division has an opening for a Head of Medical Marketing.

The Head of Medical Marketing for Pediatric Nutritional Products will be responsible for developing key marketing strategies and programs to penetrate the Pediatric Health Care Community to garner their support and recommendation of national brand equivalent store brand pediatric nutritional products to their patients.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop strategies to gain support/recommendations from the Pediatric Healthcare Community (HCC) • Lead/Develop/Execute specific programs to activate the Pediatric HCC that are measurable and effectively build store brand equity/recommendations in that community • Provide thought leadership to PBM/Perrigo around best practices and most effective/efficient means of accessing and communicating with Pediatric HCC • Establish metrics around effectiveness/ROI of medical marketing efforts • Employ digital technology platforms to access Pediatric HCC (email, social media, other) • Actively & aggressively test/trial new marketing programs against the target audience • Lead company/product efforts – serving as the company ambassador – in key healthcare professional shows; meeting; etc. • Serve as the primary ‘face’ to the HCC for Perrigo Nutritionals

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Nutrition or related area • Experience developing Marketing Strategies for product sales in the medical community • Excellent Communication Skills - written,verbal electronic • Ability to create and leverage electronic media presentations and channels • Ability to work effectively at all levels (up & down) of PBM/Perrigo • Ability to work effectively in an evolving/developing organizational structure • Demonstrated results in new medical market penetration • Demonstrated effectiveness in developing relationships and influencing members of the medical community (Physicians, Nurses, Hospitals, etc.)
Required Experience: 10+ years Healthcare Professional Marketing/Sales Experience
