Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support directly lab's packages and receiving process
Cleaning, steralizing, stocking and maintenance of glassware.
Collecting and autoclaving tissue culture and bacterielogical waste.
Operate bottel washer, dryer and autoclaves.
Steralize prepared solutions and other lab materials.
Chemical stores and pharmacy items pickup and distribution.
Liquid Nitrogen supply monitoring and dry ice handling and storage.
As needed, position will provide cross-coverage for other labs within the department; responsibilities arranged by Research Operations Manager.
English language written and verbal communication skills are required. Willingness and ability to train in excel spreadsheet as lab duties require. Experience in lab environment and ability to run large glass washing and autoclave equipment. The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 25lbs. This position involves working under conditions involving moderate noise levels and exposure to hazadous materials. In addition, this position involves frequent interaction with members of the labs and administrative staff.
