This position will support the Operations and Technology Leadership teams in the design, development, implementation, analysis, interpretation and communication of data/information to identify, diagnose and monitor service process performance metrics and issues. Duties include updating and distributing ongoing (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) reports to various audiences, working ad hoc requests into the department, and supporting mid and Sr. Level Analysts in project work. In addition, the position will support the development of data management policies and audits to ensure compliance. Other duties include documenting processes for reporting, and identifying opportunities for automation and/or process improvements.
The essential functions of this role include the following:
Support team activities in managing, driving, and continuously improving data collection, analysis and reporting processes for key service metrics/issues and/or projects
Support mid and senior level analysts with ad hoc requests and project work.
Support corporate-driven efforts to improve, standardize, document and control service processes
Prepare and distribute ongoing reports to key stakeholders
Support functional & organizational initiatives as required
Other duties as assigned
The qualifications of this role include the following:
Currently enrolled in a 4 Year or Masters degree program in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline.
0-2 years experience in statistical, financial or operational analysis or relevant coursework
Basic Customer Service Skills, Analytical Skills, Presentation Skills, Requirements Gathering Skills, Organizational Skills, Troubleshooting Skills
Advanced Communication Skills
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Access, Teradata, or SQL Server is a plus.
Analytical and detail oriented in all work activities
Customer focused in all activities
Ability to mentor internal customers in use of analytical tools, assist in the identification and development of data requirements
Ability to extrapolate data into information to drive process improvements
Excels working cross functionally, at all levels of the organization to own, drive, manage and continuously improve the data collection, root cause analysis, reporting, and communication processes
Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks at a time.
Ability to solve complex problems
Knowledge of the PBM industry preferred but not required.
