The area: Partnerships
There's always more information out there, and our Partnerships team works to get it. We develop relationships with a range of organizations, from content providers to publishers, and find ways for them to reach their audiences and manage their digital businesses. We find great content for our products, and we also work with partner sites to syndicate our own Google products. From negotiating agreements to solving technical problems for partners, we're in pursuit of gathering the world's information.
The role: Strategy and Operations Lead, Product Partnerships
As the Strategy and Operations Lead, you will be part of the Global Product Partnerships organization. You will support a Global Vertical Lead within Product Partnerships and work closely with Area/Regional Partnerships team leaders, as well as oversee strategic and organizational initiatives across the Product Partnerships organization and enable partnerships activity â€œat scale.
Lead cross-functional teams and projects to develop and implement business development strategy and tracking of strategic objectives. Drive critical strategic, operational and organizational initiatives across the Product Partnerships organization to address long-term opportunities and challenges.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Google Technical Services (GTech), Legal, Sales Finance, Compliance and other affiliated groups to work through strategic product initiatives.
Perform quantitative analysis (internal and external) that translates data into actionable insights and track and analyze key product usage and team productivity metrics while establishing and implementing new reporting tools.
Manage business operations for Product Partnerships team by ensuring best-of-breed processes are adopted across regions. Help identify, structure, and lead operational improvement initiatives through implementation, working closely with Partnerships Leads.
Contribute to initiatives that increase the capacity of the organization to execute and manage partnerships, and improve the impact of each individual SPD/SPM.
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
10 years relevant work experience, including 5 years experience at a leading consulting firm, investment bank or experience as an analyst in a Fortune 500/high growth company.
MBA, MS or other advanced degree.
Thought leader with the ability to gain respect of and constructively challenge key business stakeholders.
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment, leadership skills, and ability to communicate with a senior management team.
A self-starter who can operate in a constantly evolving team environment.
