Team does the field operations for the Engineering Group within a software environment.
Focus on providing strategic and tactical support in Customer Engagement (Predominantly Subscription) Startup and coordination. This person would be doing meetings with clients to discuss issues and make the decision to bring in software or bring in an expert to help. Need to understand which group to involve to get projects done, so will need to understand the full life cycle of the project. Will be trained on the Defect Tracking, PM, and Budget tools.
The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible and highly organized, has the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues, and is comfortable interpreting meaning and relevance from raw data. This person must be able to quickly identify and mitigate potential issues that would negatively impact Services Kick-Off, and ensure Customer Satisfaction within the process.
Use Case/Business case development skills (identification validation of business requirements) by interfacing with subject matter experts in AS Delivery, AS CE, AT/ET, Practices, business operations, STS Tools Team, Service Sales, and ESO team members. Assist in the creation of improved processes as necessary, training materials and documentation for communication and training. Responsible for Tracking and Reporting of related Customer Start-up and related program data, CNC and TKL Resource Forecasting where applicable.
Usually requires AS degree and 4 + years of related experience or BS Degree and 2-3 years of related experience or 5-6 years of related experience Reports to AS Area Delivery Lead, or Director.
Experience in sustaining customers
Software Release Background
Proven Presentation Skills
Project Management Experience in Telecom industry
VoIP experience preferred
Data Center knowledge preferred (sustaining and running an existing Data Center, not relocation)
Energetic, Flexible, Organized
Ability to Identify Potential Issues
Excellent Interpersonal Skills
Prior experience in Customer-facing network service delivery oriented role
Ability to Assist in Creation of Improved Processes
Basic Data Analysis and Trending Skills
Ability to work independently for the good of the team
Must be flexible with schedule to deal with different time zones (primarily US, UK)
Occasional travel 5-10%
Experience with tracking client SLA's
