Intermountain Medical Group is seeing a Payroll Specialist I, to assist with centralized timekeeping functions.
1. Monitor payroll system time entries.
2. Make corrections and adjustments as needed.
3. Resolve problems and report discrepancies to policy.
4. Insure compliance with applicable payroll policies and laws.
5. Protect company assets.
6. Coverage of support telephone line.
7. Proactively seek opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.
Entry Rate: $. 12.69
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: Full-time. One week the work schedule will be Monday through Friday. The next week the work schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday. This work schedule repeats on a continuous basis.
Department: Accounting Department.
Demonstrated aptitude for numbers and ability to quickly learn common business applications.
Demonstrated working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills, communicating with inernal and external clients.
PC skills including Excel and Word
Must have excellent organizational skills, be able to meet frequent deadlines, accuracy, be detailed orientated and posses problem solving skills.
Ability to learn payroll concepts such as , Wage and Hour laws and Intermountain policies.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Seeing, speaking listening/hearing and manual dexterity.
Previous work experience with timekeeping/payroll preferred.
