Sr. LAWSON PROGRAMMER ANALYST
Programmer/Analyst with Lawson (Logistics, Mobile Supply Chain and AP)
JOB TITLE Responsibilities:
The Sr. Applications Programmer/Analyst performs high level technical systems analysis and programming and will act as back up to the Lead Lawson Developer. Acts independently, under general direction from the Applications Project Leader. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Responsible for understanding customer needs and processes to ensure maximum utilization of automation and system availability. Persons in this position are responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation, following departmental standards. Involved in a multi-disciplinary team approach for selection and implementation of new or upgraded systems. Has full knowledge of all phases of application programming and an understanding of operating systems and utilities to perform responsibilities. Has an awareness of computer equipment capacity and limitations and distributed processing.
Sr. Lawson Developer Requirements:
Responsible for the day-to-day support of the Mobile Supply Chain and EDI set up and configuration.
Imaging or Scanning experience ---back up to the Document Imaging Lead. This person will answer Document Imaging questions using OnBase for Clinical and Image Now for Accounts Payable.
Technical development expertise in a Lawson 9.0 environment to be upgraded to 9.1 including:
JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, Unix, Lawson CASE, and Crystal Reports
Knowledge of Lawson Security, Lawson Process Flow preferred
Prior HealthCare experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Job Duties: The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
End User training documentation and education
Provide front-line support for all functional Lawson issues
Assist in developing all application setup changes pertaining to new process improvements impacting the Lawson system
Provide functional/operational input to ongoing process improvement initiatives impacting the Lawson system
Assist in developing requirements for projects as needed
Perform Lawson module setup for any new business units
Convert legacy data to the appropriate Lawson modules as required for new or acquired business units
Develop ad-hoc reports as required using Lawson Report Writer, Lawson add-ins, SQL queries, and other applications as necessary
Perform all Lawson year-end close procedures for all modules
Develop and enhance Lawson Upload Wizard Excel templates
Maintain and update the Lawson currency exchange module required for foreign operations
Maintain and update the consolidated chart of accounts
Load and maintain budgets for consolidated budget vs. actual reporting (data provided by field)
Assist auditors as needed
Reconcile accounts payable checks to identify check fraud
Import historical wire payments to provide consolidated AP vendor payment history
Investigate and resolve invoice accrual discrepancies between AP and GL
Extract vendor payment history required for annual 1099 reporting
Monitor and resolve issues related to positive pay interface
Convert historical asset management information to the Lawson AM system
Complete mass asset changes as required
Complete functional system testing for major environment and application service pack upgrades and critical system patches
Coordinate new Lawson user setup and system introduction
Import custom orders to the Lawson procurement suite monthly
Other duties/special projects as necessary
Job Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science (recommended but not required)
Experience with Lawson and its individual functional modules (Financial Planning, Materials Mgmt, and Procurement)
Strong understanding of Lawson application table structure
Experience with PC applications including: MS Office, Oracle Databases, SQL queries, and Internet Explorer
