You will serve as the Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Program Evaluation within the Office of the Inspector General, responsible for leading change, demonstrating personal leadership that inspires others to achieving organizational goals, and establishing monitoring and adjusting systems and processes to deliver organizational goals, and achieving results.

In this position, you will:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of Program Evaluation.
  • Serve as the primary office manager, budget officer, and human capital officer.
  • Use expert analytical and managerial skills to provide quality assurance that all products and projects produced by each Program Evaluation product lines meet appropriate standards.
  • Initiate and lead OIG change efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of OIG operations, serving as a role model, and demonstrating personal leadership that inspires others and achieves results.
  • Work with senior officials from EPA; the Office of Management and Budget (OMB); congressional committees; other Federal, state, and local offices; professional organizations; and environmental organizations to further coordination, customer service, and results.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal sector designing, conducting, reporting, or reviewing program evaluations, particularly reviews focused on the environment and human health; and experience achieving organizational goals by managing office functions such as administrative support , policy development, budgeting and resources, and staff development. (You must clearly show how you meet this requirement in your resume).
