This position will report to a Field Service Manager and will serve as a point of contact for our dealer subscribers to increase usage of Carfax products and focus on customer retention.
As a Regional Account Manager, you will:
Primarily be responsible for managing relationships and driving revenue growth with existing dealer subscribers. Responsibilities will also include:
Market and resell Carfax products to existing Carfax subscribers within assigned territory
Increase dealer awareness, engagement and retention by building strong relationships
Actively sell all CARFAX marketing and incentive programs to subscribers increasing their product value awareness
Overcome objections through benefit and value added selling techniques.
At least three years field sales or service experience preferably in the retail automotive industry
Dealership experience is a plus
Experience managing/retaining key accounts and regional geographies including both marketing and sales functions.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Goal oriented, results focused.
Experience working independently, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Candidate must be able to drive a vehicle to our customer locations for 8 hours each day, entering and exiting the vehicle regularly to conduct onsite customer meetings
Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
Excellent computer skills (MS office, CRM applications, Dealer DMS and online inventory sites)
Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
All candidates are subject to a full background check
Compensation package includes base salary, bonus and excellent benefits
100% daily travel (typically within 100-mile radius)
This position is home based, travel to dealerships daily
Regular overnight travel required - approx. 25 to 50%
