Job Description:
NHS Human Services is currently seeking fee-for-service
experienced BSCs that are certified in performing
Functional Behavior Assessments on Children diagnosed
with Mental Health or Autism. We are looking for people
to work in Philadelphia, Montgomery or Bucks county. The
trained therapist certified in performing FBA's BSC will
design and direct the implementation of a behavior
modification intervention plan which is individualized
to each child or adolescent and family needs. Training
will be provided to individuals interested in obtaining
their certification.
While maintaining some direct contact with child and
family, the Certified FBA Behavior Specialist Consultant
will primarily provide assessment; program design and
monitoring.
  • Core services include the following:
  • Assessment of strengths and therapeutic needs of
child and family
  • Inclusion of child as a participant in his/her own
treatment
  • Inclusion of parents or other caretakers as members
of the treatment team and as partners in treatment
  • Determination, with the family and the case manager,
of any necessary family support services
**This is a field position and requires a valid driver’s
license and a reliable vehicle**

Job Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other
clinical related field
  • FBA certified
  • Graduate level Mental Health Clinician with
documented training in the field of behavior
modification techniques.
  • Experience in a CASSP Service System (employed by or
under contract to C&Y services, juvenile justice,
mental health, special education, or drug and
alcohol, working with children, or employed by a
mental health services agency or subcontracted
agency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,
positive attitude and the ability to work well with
a team
