Temporary Customer Service Representative /Teller
•Pay or receive over the counter transactions, including cash deposits/withdrawals, loan payments and utility payments.
•Cash and/or issue manager’s checks, travelers checks, and telegraphic transfers.
•Ensure cash drawer working funds are adequate to meet normal customer
demand and remain in such position throughout the day.
•Post transactions (e.g., night/direct and deposit express deposits, inflows, systematic payments and interdepartmental offsets and credit cards payments, etc.) in a timely manner.
•Prepare teller proof and balance all transactions and the cash drawer at the end of each business day.
•Ensure each day’s transactions and balanced proofs are remitted to appropriate department promptly.
•Assist other tellers in the preparation of remittances, filing and maintenance of cash and tellers records.
•Act as vault back-up/alternate if needed or when designated.
•Be fully familiar with unit security and anti-robbery procedures.
•Ensure knowledge of and compliance to teller policies and procedures as well as Federal and local laws related to banking and teller operations.
•High school diploma or equivalent required
•Two years work experience preferably in financial services or retail.
•Cash handling experience preferred
•Strong customer service mindset
•Familiar with various Microsoft Office applications
