UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the development of production, engineering and aftermarket proposals for both military and commercial customers. This includes developing costed Bills of Materials, pricing labor estimates from the business, and applying overhead rates.
The Financial Analyst will provide financial modeling support for assessing business opportunities and will partner with the business to asses the financial impact of decisions before and during negotiations. The position will require supporting each proposal through audits from both internal and external sources
(a2Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or a related field
(a2 One or more years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting or a related field or four or more years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense field.
(a2 Excellent communication and organizational skills
(a2 Familiarity with product structure
(a2 Must possess sound reasoning skills (financial modeling experience a plus)
(a2 Knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Hyperion or similar products)
(a2 Understanding of labor and overhead rates
(a2 Government acquisition experience a plus
(a2 Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
(a2 Microsoft Access, Project and Visio knowledge a plus
