. Conducts analysis in conjunction with Analysts and Senior Analysts and is responsible for making database and manual queries on the individuals identified as possible fugitive and criminal aliens.
Analysis of immigration benefit cases, performing data entry, receiving/reviewing A-Files, photocopying, boxing and mailing A-Files, interfiling material, correcting and updating EARM and other ICE databases, maintaining statistics, preparing standards and certified mail, and tracking certified letters.
Locates and scans alien file documents, and assist with the transportation of alien files from other DHS offices to the FOSC location.
United States Citizen
Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English
Associates Degree with two years of related experience; or a Bachelor's Degree with one year of related experience; or five years of related experience if no degree.
Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs.
Experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data.
Ability to review A-Files and to perform detailed analytical and research support services
Law enforcement experience or experience in interpreting and applying immigration law is preferred.
Experience in utilizing DHS and legacy INS databases is desirable.
