POSITION PURPOSE -
The Sr. Process Support Analyst is responsible for project management and process development for HR business initiatives using appropriate project management and process definition methodologies and tools. This is accomplished by working closely with business partners both inside and outside of HR Services to develop and execute project tasks, including key project deliverables. This position shares responsibility and accountability with the project leadership team for the successful delivery of the entire project, as well as overall process design.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
Participates in planning, scheduling, monitoring, evaluating and directing projects.
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Communicates and reports project status and issues to management.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Effectively applies THD methodology and enforces project standards.
Minimizes exposure and risks on projects.
Conducts current and to be process analysis utilizing business and systems expertise. Participates in appropriate steps during solution development lifecycle to ensure functional requirements are met.
Determines process improvement opportunities. Provides consulting to re-engineer and strengthen business processes.
NATURE AND SCOPE -
Reports to: Director HR Analytics
No associates report to this role on a permanent basis; requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass Background Check.
Ability to work a flexible schedule
EDUCATION REQUIRED -
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 03
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field
2 years in retail industry or Home Depot equivalent
Six Sigma Certification a plus (not required)
Expert knowledge in MS Project
Knowledge of Home Depot development methodology
Project Management Professional designation a plus (not required)
Proven leadership skills
