POSITION: Administrative Specialist (Temporary Position) Defense Industry

SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED:
Current Secret clearance preferred.
Performs executive administrative and operations support tasks for the Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay (AF-IPPS) Program at the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center (AFLCMC). Provides support to the Chief Engineer to include formatting correspondence, reports, briefings, and other content drafted by technical and management personnel; transmitting documents and data files; providing general support for business meetings; and supporting travel planning.
Provides the following support the AF-IPPS Chief Engineer and program leadership: c reating travel plans for military/government members; logistics planning for meetings/business reviews and visitors; calendar maintenance for the Chief Engineer; data entry and processing of military and civilian annual appraisals, decorations, and awards; collecting and consolidating inputs for the PEO Activity Reports (PARs); tracking and monitoring programmatic taskers in the suspense system; creation, processing and handling of official correspondence; record keeping of correspondence and important memorandum; maintenance of Government filing system (both paper and electronic); creating and maintaining job-related metrics; and general operations support tasks to ensure efficient and smooth operation of each Division.
Degree Requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent experience (See Note 1 below).
Relevant Experience: Seven years experience. Must have a positive attitude, ability to work well with others and flexibility to changing workloads. Multitasking capabilities are a must to handle the work level of the lead and deputy as well as the occasional requests for administrative assistance from other team members. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Workplace is a matrix team composed of military, government civilian and contractor members.

The criteria for substitution of educational degrees and/or experience are stated below:
(1) Education Substituted for Experience: Formal education may substitute for related general and specialized experience. A Bachelors degree may substitute for four (4) years of experience. A Masters degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience. A Ph.D degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience
(2) Experience Substituted for Formal Education: Related general experience may substitute for formal education. Two (2) years of additional related experience may substitute for an Associates Degree. Four (4) years of additional related experience may substitute for a Bachelors Degree. Two (2) additional years of related experience with similar functional responsibilities may substitute for a Masters Degree
(3) Each Professional Certification related to the field of expertise required is equivalent to two years of specialized and related general experience
