BlackRock's SMA Operations team is looking for an Associate candidate to support our Reconciliation/Trade Support in Princeton. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the SMA business by ensuring cash, transactions, and positions are reconciled daily and trades are communicated accurately to our 3rd party sponsor platforms. The Reconciliation team is responsible for ensuring the data in the SMA accounting systems is accurately maintained for trading, client reporting, billing performance and composite reporting. The Reconciliation/Trade Support Associate will be expected to build relationships across Operations, PMG & external vendors.
Gain a high understanding of the team’s processes, sponsor relationships, and vendor systems used to support SMA
Responsible for the engagement and setup for all new sponsor interfaces along with the corresponding workflow to support operationally
Identify & resolve individual account discrepancies accurately and efficiently, to ensure systems are ready for trading
Communicate Trade allocations to various sponsors, addressing any issues as they arise
Assist in enhancing processes to create scalability and accommodate growth across PI and USPC platforms
Participate in special projects as the need arises to accommodate new products and platforms
Work collaboratively with PMG, and Ops to resolve exceptions
Manage the monthly composite process out of APL
Trouble shoot performance related issues with PMG
BA/BS is required
Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
Familiarity with Fiserv APL system is preferred
Computer proficiency in Excel
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
