Manage all aspects of the marketing of certain assigned products and/or brands in the children and family market, including monitoring the new product development process and ensuring that products are completed on schedule and meet performance quality and cost criteria; assess and determine if problems exist in the product development process and work with management to effectively resolve the same; analyze and evaluate retail sales information to identify marketing effectiveness and opportunities; contribute to the development of segment strategy and overall category plans by making strategy recommendations and executing strategies put forth by category management; analyze current market trends and competitive activity to identifying new product opportunities; develop advertising strategies through creative execution and agency communications with respect to media, television networks, commercial filming, approvals and promotions; act as a liaison with various internal departments and outside agencies with respect to product availability, media, advertising development, promotions, merchandising, trade show needs and specials/exclusives; formulate packaging strategies, implementation and approvals; develop brand and product strategies, including line review presentations, product plans, pricing, position, market needs and forecasting and obtaining management approvals; conduct competitive analysis, including coordinating and analyzing market data and the retail environment, and identifying new markets, product categories, current trends and competitive activity; and recommend to management appropriate marketing strategies to optimize product performance.

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (foreign equivalency acceptable).
- Two years' of marketing experience in consumer and/or packaged goods.
- Experience with new product development process and cycle.
- Experience launching brands in multiple channels.
- Experience with Return on Investment metrics, consumer pricing and consumer insight tools in the context of global marketing plans.
