Responsible for editing, maintaining and updating external Nursing website and internal Nursing Web portal content and information. Work with internal institutional Web content and design specialists to coordinate, organize and maintain external Nursing website and internal Nursing Web portal. Produce documents, reports, publications and posters that include scholarly works; professional publications, presentations and reports; Magnet Recognition; and promotional materials using appropriate software applications. Perform administrative and office support functions for supervisors and nursing councils, including drafting/typing/formatting meeting agendas and minutes; coordinating arrangements and set-ups for meetings; and preparing correspondence, memoranda and emails.
Either: (A) Associate's degree in Web Design, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science or Business plus 2 years' experience in Web and administrative support required, or (B) 4 years of Web and administrative support experience.
Excellent writing skills and ability to edit nursing and healthcare-related content.
Knowledge of graphic design, Web development and content management software, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite).
Office administration practices and procedures, including organizational skills with ability to set priorities, organize and maintain office and technical files, take initiative, and exercise independent judgment within areas of responsibility.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and other software required to create a variety of documents, reports, publications and visual media displays (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, including Access, Outlook and Publisher).
Knowledge of copyright issues for print and multimedia products and publications.
Familiarity with HTML (hypertext markup language).
Able to sit constantly, stand/walk occasionally.
Able to lift/carry/push/pull 0-10 lbs. occasionally.
Able to reach occasionally.
Able to use hands for grasping frequently.
