NMC is seeking an intern to assist with various Finance projects including research and analysis, financial reporting, and assisting with month end close and other day-to-day activities.
Duties: 1. Conduct research and analysis, including drafting executive summaries for senior management.
2. Perform detailed financial modeling, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
3. Assist the Accounting team with month end close and variance analysis.
4. Assist the FP&A team with a re-forecast of the business.
5. Communicates daily/weekly with the Controller, Financial Analysts, division leaders and VP of Finance.
Qualifications: Qualified applicant must possess outstanding analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Education and Experience:
Qualified applicant must be pursuing a college degree, preferably in finance or related field.
Experience with balance sheets, cash flow, income statements and forecasting preferred.
