The AU Ready Hire program helps many hiring managers on American University’s campus fill office support positions in a range of university departments and offices. The AU Ready Hire program helps to fill positions such as senior administrative assistant, staff assistant, customer relations representative, program assistant, executive assistant, and general office support positions throughout American University’s campus.
The AU Ready Hire program candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of administrative assistant or office support experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
Candidates must have at least 1 year of administrative/support-oriented experience and have a desire to work in higher education for the long term. Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills; demonstrate a high level of attention to detail; and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
